CenPOA is a non-partisan, non-governmental civil organization founded to promote civil engagement and participation in public administration by harnessing public views to influence policy discourse and direction as well as provide the opportunity to keep the population educated and well-informed.
CenPOA conducts polling on political and social issues to provide the opportunity for universal civic engagement using real world research approaches. We also undertake activities and organize events to promote civic education and enlightenment.

Leadership
Michael Nandomah has a decade of experience in evaluation and program management having pursued a lustrous career in international development working with the United States Department of agriculture (USDA), The Aurum Institute of South Africa and Plan International. Michael also worked with the Parliament of Ghana where he gained adequate insight into citizen representation and participation in public administration. Michael has attended and presented at several conferences across the globe and is considered a potential thought leader on politics, development and social change.
Executive Director
Dr Abdul-Razak Alhassan is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and International Business at the Department of Strategy and International Business, University of Surrey. Prior to joining the university, he was previously a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of the MSc Management Suite Programme at Birmingham City University and Course Director, MSc International Business, Coventry University.
He is an international business, development and management academic and consultant with expertise in organisational growth and development; business strategy and growth; Business Ethics and Corporate Political Activity; strategic leadership and organisational transformation; corporate governance among others. He has over 10 years experience managing projects at senior levels both in academia and business working in countries including the UK, Malaysia, Ghana, Tanzania and India.
Razak is an active researcher and a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). He has previously studied at the University of Manchester, University of Westminster and the University for Development Studies (UDS, Ghana). He holds a PhD in Development Policy and Management (University of Manchester); an MA in International Development Management (University of Westminster); and a BSc in Agricultural Technology majoring in Economics and Extension Education (UDS, Ghana).

Management
Dora is an experienced finance and administration professional. She has worked in both public and private sectors managing people and processes for success. Over the past decade, she has worked with Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Africa’s digital movie distribution giant Iroko TV and more recently as Director of Operations at Royal Gate Hospitality. Dora holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from KNUST and additional professional qualifications
Director of Finance and Administration
Cephas is a seasoned program management professional with great experience in developing digital tools to solve complex social and developmental challenges. He has demonstrated working experience in agriculture, health, education, WASH and energy projects. He is proficient in ArcGIS suite (and open-source GIS solutions), Geospatial Analysis, Web Development, Data Analytics, Global Positioning System (GPS) development, Data Collection, Data Management and Technical Report Writing.

Dr. Ezekiel Nortey is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Statistics at the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a seasoned academic with over 20 years of experience in research, teaching and mentoring of students. He has enormous experience in statistical modelling and analysis and has consulted for many international organizations. He has been a contributor to the National Human Development Report, (Ghana, 2007) and the 2010 National Census Report. He is also a regular guest on television program discussions on election results.

She is an enthusiastic and tech-savvy professional with experience providing comprehensive communications and public relations support to promote organizational missions, programs, and services. Christiana has extensive experience coordinating communications programs and initiatives using a hands-on approach grounded in ethics and leveraging on latest web tools including social media. Her areas of expertise include: Corporate Affairs, External Affairs, Stakeholder Engagement, Corporate Communications, Government Relations, Brand Management, Media Relations, Digital and Social Media, Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social Programmes, Internal Communications.

Our Work
Opinion Polls, Research and Evaluation
CenPoA conducts public-opinion polling at the national and sub-national levels. We also undertake commissioned, public-interest evaluation and research activities to generate evidence to promote advocacy, influence policy discourse and direction. The center’s research activities and polls on political and social issues provide unique opportunities for civic engagement and experiential learning. Our opinion polls and research activities are conducted using standard research design and methodology.
Advocacy and Social Change Communication
CenPoA has expertise cum experience in the design and implementation of advocacy and behavioral change communication campaigns using proven approaches/strategies and tools, and adopting a collaborative stakeholder engagement and management process. We believe in the appropriate use of research and evidence as effective tools to influence public discourse and social policy through civic engagement and participation.

Initiatives
National Citizen Satisfaction Survey
The survey collects, collates and analyzes feedback data from Ghanaians to determine their level of satisfaction with the performance of public administrative structures and to measure how much of the citizenry’s expectations have been met. The survey focuses on key areas such as health, education, security, the economy and good governance. The outcomes of the biennial survey will provide an opportunity for the citizenry to express their views as well as provide insights for public officers and political leadership on the trailing issues of concern among the general populace that may need redress. CenPOA collaborates with various stakeholders both public and private in the planning and conduct of the survey taking on a central role of coordination and leadership leveraging on the rich experience of its team of experts.
